It has been brought to our attention that our exhibitors are being targeted by companies claiming to be, or work with, our organisation. These companies may even use the HOMES UK event branding in order to appear genuine.
Ocean Media Group, the organisers of HOMES UK, would like to stress that there are no third parties selling any products or information on its behalf.
Fraudulent activity includes (but not limited to) attempting to sell fraudulent delegate contact information and selling directory services.
It is therefore extremely important that you remain vigilant when signing documents seemingly related to the events and if you are in any doubt surrounding the authenticity of communication received, please contact your account manager directly.
The AEO advises exhibitors who fall victim to this scam the following:
Our advice is to IGNORE THEM COMPLETELY, and not communicate with them in any way. Writing letters simply confirms that you exist and are available at the address/email address/number they have for you, and therefore payment can be pursued.
These organisations have also been known to use debt recovery agencies, the same advice stands for these agencies.
If you believe you have been subject to any suspicious communications, please forward the details to lucia.froud@oceanmedia.co.uk or your account manager.
Don't take our word for it, our exhibitors speak for themselves...
"HOMES UK 2019 was a highly effective event with a great mix of attendees across almost every housing association in the country. Following on from a successful event last year, we decided to increase our presence and double the size of our stand for 2019. That made it the perfect place to launch our new IoT solution Tempus which is a collaboration with Cornerstone.."
- Chris Bunnell, marketing executive, Pinacl Solutions UK Limited
“HOMES UK 2019 - excellent conference at the new venue, it really gave our business a truly great platform to promote our new product and market our brand.”
- Julian Philips, Mi-space UK Limited
“A2Dominion sponsored Housing 2020: the virtual festival to showcase the work underway with our joint ventures providing the quality homes we desperately need. We have been really impressed with how the first virtual event has gone and look forward to working with the team in 2021 too, live or virtual!”
- Darrell Mercer, chief executive, A2Dominion Group
“Willmott Dixon have been a supporter of Housing for decades and this year was no different. Working alongside the team we hosted some excellent debates at Housing 2020: the virtual festival and the engagement was brilliant. In fact, we had such a good discussion that we are continuing our dialogue in the next few weeks with all our attendees as we ran out of time! Well done and see you in 2021.”
- Andrew Geldard, head of communications, Willmott Dixon
“Thanks to you and your team for your support of the session at Housing 2020: the virtual festival and getting us through with zero technical hitches. Well done on an excellent conference!”
