Rebuilding the workforce: Skills, careers & the £600m taskforce
Meeting housing delivery targets depends on having the right workforce in place. This panel will explore the scale of the skills challenge, the effectiveness of current training programmes, and what more needs to be done to make careers in construction and development attractive and accessible. Speakers will compare approaches from different parts of the country, including those aimed at meeting the labour needs of high-demand urban markets.
