With energy bills set to rise, the stakes for warm, affordable homes have never been higher. Coinciding with National Energy Action’s Fuel Poverty Awareness Day, this session highlights the reality for over six million households in fuel poverty. Record levels of debt and cold unsafe homes are driving poor health outcomes and deepening inequality. Retrofit provides a lifeline, offering lower bills, warmer homes and better health for those most at risk. This session explores how the housing sector can identify households in greatest need, target funding where it will have the most impact and ensure fairness is built into every stage of delivery.
