AI safety, cybersecurity and ethical governance
As housing providers adopt more digital tools, concerns are growing around AI safety, cybersecurity risks, and the ethical use of resident data. Yet awareness of cyber threats and safeguarding remains low across the sector, leaving organisations vulnerable to breaches, poor validation of AI models, and inconsistent governance. Weak data practices, misconceptions about data sharing, and vendor dependency further increase risk. This session will explore how providers can raise awareness, strengthen governance, ensure AI tools are transparent and fair, and protect resident data from both technical and ethical threats.
