COVID-19 coronavirus: information for our customers

Ocean Media Group commitment to your safety and peace of mind

Ocean Media Group, members of the Association of Event Organisers (AEO), continue to follow the guidelines set out by the government and closely monitor the situation regarding COVID-19 on a regular basis. The safety and welfare of our event attendees has always been paramount and remains a priority as we move forward with planning the event. ExCel, is taking the necessary steps, including those listed below, to ensure they are COVID-19 Secure and has worked in line with the government’s All Secure Standard for delivering events achieving Visit Britain’s We’re Good to Go status in line with this.

At this moment in time, ExCeL, London will be checking for a NHS COVID pass (double vaccine) or proof of negative test (within the previous 48 hours) on all entry points (including the traffic office for contractors) at HOMES UK.

We strongly advise that you save and download your NHS COVID pass to your smartphone in advance of attending or take a photo of the valid QR code / bring a printout with you as poor connectivity on your smartphone may not permit the app to load.

Please visit the venue website for further information: - https://www.excel.london/visitor/your-safety

We also welcome mask-wearing throughout the event and strongly recommend all those that are not exempt wear masks in busy areas of the show. We also request that all attendees check-in to the venue using the NHS app on arrival each day.

We work in a sector that has always put people first and we all know how important this is. Thank you for your support for HOMES UK and we look forward to seeing you on 23-24 Novemnber at ExCel London.

Safety Measures FAQs

Will social distancing measures be in place for the physical events?

We will encourage attendees to maintain a reasonable distance wherever possible.

Will I be required to wear a mask?

We strongly recommend that all attendees wear masks throughout the event. Masks will be available to all attendees at no charge, but we encourage you to bring your own. Mask policy is subject to change, based on national, regional, and/or venue requirements at the time of the event.

Can you tell me more about hygiene and cleaning at the event?

We are working with our venues to ensure deep and thorough cleaning takes place before, during and after each day of the event. Hand sanitisers will be provided throughout the public areas of the venue and of course, we will recommend that all attendees wash their hands regularly. You can read more about the venues cleaning measures on the venues website.

Do I need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend HOMES UK?

HOMES UK will operate according to government and venue restrictions (more information to follow in the pre-show joining instructions)

Do you have any other advice for attendees?

We are doing everything we can to ensure a safe environment onsite for our attendees. As such, we have some expectations of all participants in the event:

All event participants are expected to observe and engage in recognised preventive actions to help ensure a safe environment, including frequent hand washing. Individuals should not attend the event if they have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days. Should an event participant test positive for COVID-19, register a temperature, or become ill during the event, he/she/they should observe recognised quarantining procedures.
