How are Unite Students helping to shape the #futureofliving?
Students have become more like consumers than ever before. At its core, Unite is creating Homes for Success and the future of living plays a large part in this. Examples of this include the addition of more communal space that is not necessarily larger, but also tailored to the particular area where the accommodation is located.
What changes do you see happening in your sector in the next 12 months?
There will be far more focus on technology and how you can capture the needs of the customer. In terms of the wider investment market, we are likely to see further consolidation of the big players. There is likely to be even more competition for sites and opportunities as the student market has shown a lot of resilience to today’s market changes.
