Unlocking delivery to tackle London’s homelessness crisis
Rough sleeping in the capital has hit the highest level in a decade. Meanwhile, builders started work on fewer new homes for social rent funded with subsidies from Homes England or the Greater London Authority, than at any time since the 2016. What immediate steps are needed to tackle the homelessness crisis in London? How can housing development be better incentivised? What are the existing schemes that can learn from?
