The latest Construction Skills Network report predicts that an extra 225,000 construction workers are needed by 2027 to meet UK demand. Alongside this, the Social Housing Act now mandates social housing managers to obtain professional qualifications to ensure a properly skilled and experienced workforce.

This session will explore practical  solutions for tackling the professionalism and skills challenge in UK construction, by addressing these critical questions:

•    What are the replicable models for construction training and skills development that can be rolled out across the UK?
•    How do we make the sector appealing and inclusive for the next cohort of construction and development professionals?
•    What can be done to lessen the impact of labour shortages on our operations?
