All social landlords are expected to carry out stock condition surveys for their homes every five years, but also need EPCs, full energy surveys, electrical safety inspections, annual gas services and other property inspections. And this doesn’t include DMC specialist surveys, block surveys or wider estate management responsibilities.
The RICS & NHF have announced they are developing a new template for stock condition surveys and EPCs are being amended next year for greater relevance to decarbonisation.
