Housing has a vital role to play in the creation of sustainable places with quality homes connected to transport links and public amenities. This session will bring to light the examples of ambitious placemaking in action, and how community involvement was prioritised at every step.
• Transforming homes and public spaces to provide job opportunities and enable areas to become centre points of investments
• Thinking differently about where and how we build to provide affordable homes
• Addressing the dual challenges of building new sustainable places, whilst investing in the regeneration of existing areas
