How do we create a “gold standard” for retrofit compliance and quality assurance?
We are undertaking more and more retrofit activity. We are learning from each project undertaken. How best do we use this collective knowledge to build standards to ensure that retrofit can scale at pace with a good experience for the resident at its heart. What are the key considerations everyone has to work towards.
• Understanding the latest changes to PAS 2035 and the impact on SHDF bids.
• How to link up compliance requirements across the board – joining up energy efficiency with building safety and indoor air quality.
• Are we in danger of making this too complicated for people to follow and implement? How do we simplify?
• Are we taking too much time to come up with the “right answer” when our real challenge is one of pure volume?
