The Scaffolding Association is a not-for-profit independent trade organisation campaigning to raise standards of safety, technical quality and workforce skills in this sector. Membership is an assurance of quality and demonstrates an ability to carry out the safe design, installation and commissioning of access and temporary structures that use scaffolding systems.

Housing associations are expected to develop 285,000 new homes by 2019 (at an estimated cost of £43 billion) and the private rented sector experiencing the highest rate of growth across all tenures.
The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists is the lead qualifying body for Architectural Technology. It represents those working and studying within the discipline. CIAT qualifies Chartered Architectural Technologists, MCIAT and professionally qualified Architectural Technicians, TCIAT.
