Professor Nick Hopkins is Law Commissioner for Property, Family and Trust Law and will be leading work on the reform of several areas of residential leasehold announced in its 13th Programme of Law reform. Prior to appointment as Commissioner he researched and taught property law for over 20 years, and he holds a Chair in Law at Reading University
